Sustaining Momentum: PR for Idiogram's Butcher’s Parcel

The brief

Idiogram's single Butcher's Parcel, from their forthcoming album Reunion of Broken Parts featured pulsing synths, off-beat drums, and huge guitar lines. Our goal was to maintain awareness of the band ahead of a video release planned for after the festive break, keeping them top of mind in the music scene.

Our role

We used existing relationships with key media contacts, including bloggers, magazines, playlist curators, radio stations in the UK and USA, and podcasters. We also expanded our reach by pitching to new contacts using platforms like Submithub and Groover, while engaging with more traditional local press as well.

The result

Internationally, the track was featured on playlists by Rock & Roll Out in the United Arab Emirates, and shared by ALT Music Radio in both the UK and America, as well as on KDUB Radio and Deal Radio in the USA.

Online, Last Day Deaf, Wax, and AL Son of Marketing published blog reviews, with Last Day Deaf also sharing on their social media and playlist.

Loud Enough Magazine shared the track on X/Facebook, and Ingrown Radio added it to their passionate ambient/experimental/indie show.

Here in Scotland, Scots Whay Hae! gave the track radio play. More locally, our friends at East Lothian Courier covered the release, helping to amplify Idiogram's presence.
